Christopher Shank 2026-02-10 17:59:35 Someone mapped out the social graph of bluesky, which is fun to interact with. Most of the FoC community seems located on the edges of the web dev galaxy and I added labels to smaller clusters within.
@chee noticed that we are more closely situated with designers than software engineering

Bill Mill 2026-02-10 18:44:16 I enjoy that I am neither queer, nor British, Australian or a birder
(but I love having all of them as my neighbors)
Christopher Shank 2026-02-10 19:49:53 I guess that might have been from collapsing a multi-dimensional space into two dimensions haha
Ivan Reese 2026-02-13 00:44:18 Hey, let's do another virtual meetup this month, on the 25th. Need some demos! Any takers?
Marcos D 2026-02-13 01:12:23 perhaps I could demo PuzzLisp, although it's not in a very mature state
Tom Larkworthy 2026-02-13 07:31:48 yeah I have been trying to polish Lopecode for a submission on the 20th so it should be in a good state
Francisco Garau 2026-02-13 11:19:30 I have something to present -- it is a live environment with direct object manipulation (inspired in Self and it's Morphic UI) -- at what time do you have the virtual meetups? (I am based in London)
Marcos D 2026-02-14 11:54:10 I think I can add some more features in the interim so the 25th will be a bit more showable, so count me up (if there's still space)
Ivan Reese 2026-02-14 13:35:23 though Tom Larkworthy, if someone new wants to present, i think i should pick them and bump you to next month, since you've demoed before. is that okay?
Jakob Schindegger 2026-02-14 16:46:24 I am a bit of a newbie and haven't presented anything here yet. Would love to show tailrmade - our visual app builder, but am not familiar with what projects you are after?
Ivan Reese 2026-02-14 18:11:16 as long as it's a demo of a cool thing you're making and not a sales / hiring pitch, we'd love to see it!
Jakob Schindegger 2026-02-14 18:12:09 Roger that. Then, if I am not stealing anyones spot, please count me in.
Ivan Reese 2026-02-14 18:36:29 @Marcos D @Francisco Garau @Jakob Schindegger the format is that you get 7 minutes to demo, and the audience gets 7 minutes to ask questions. try to stick to your time, but it's okay to run a minute or two long or short. also, please make sure you give lots of context on your work: who is it for, what do they use it to do, how far along are you, what's next, etc. the more context, the more legible your work will be.
Ivan Reese 2026-02-14 18:37:06 the demos will be recorded and shared on YT, and watched by a few hundred people.
