Here's the date for our next meetup: wednesday 30 October 16:00 UTC. There's no agenda, but we have room for 3 demo's/presentations. If you want to demo/present something in our familiar format then please respond in the thread of this message.

Ivan Reese 2024-10-04 19:07:55

I'd be happy to do a demo of Inkling, the project we'll be presenting at LIVE. But I'd prefer to let other people present, so consider me a fallback option.

Sounds good to me!

Maikel van de Lisdonk In the past, the meetup announcements were in #announcements. It's probably not a good idea to change.

And a reminder to all Europeans: daylight saving time ends the weekend before, so 16:00 UTC will be 17:00 CET this time.

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-05 15:13:19

Yes and they still will be, Ivan Reese will post it there. But I did the first initial announcements here every time. I am also going to make a page on the wiki and plan ahead, but haven't found the time yet

Ivan Reese 2024-10-05 15:34:42

Thanks for the reminder :)

Kartik Agaram 2024-10-05 16:06:29

I can demo my recent notebook UI adventures. But priority to others who haven't presented recently.

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-05 16:11:47

I have DM'ed one member for a demo request 🤞

Daniel Harris 2024-10-05 18:01:16

I'm happy to demo Kendraio dashboard builder if you think it fits the scene. I shared an example of what we build with 💬 #share-your-work@2024-09-30.

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-05 18:09:03

Yes, sounds good to me! As long as its not a commercial talk off course

Daniel Harris 2024-10-05 18:10:44

Cool Maikel van de Lisdonk. We're nonprofit, open source and forever free. 🎉

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-05 18:11:07

Very nice! 👍

Tom Larkworthy 2024-10-05 23:14:55

Is it full now? I think observablehq.com/@tomlarkworthy/robocoop is functional getting close to being useful with the addition of RAG and test driven development

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-06 07:09:01

I just got a response from @Marek Rogalski and he will also give a demo

Maikel van de Lisdonk 2024-10-06 07:10:54

If Ivan Reese and Kartik Agaram still want to offer up their places then Tom Larkworthy can also demo.

This is the talk I gave at the last Future of Coding London Meetup - Back to Basics with Technology. It goes through some of my recent explorations in electronics, crochet and light + a bunch of ideas I’ve been mulling over: youtu.be/Q-rvkIQ0lu8?si=YyzrHUJZnVxbKNo2
