I've started building an "everything shell". It uses my language EYG and a structural editor. the whole thing is be hosted with the idea that the resources you can ask about (instead of filesystems and processes) are every cloud system I have.

Looks good!

It seems one trade-off you made in your structural editor is to forgo conventional math notation in order to keep the shortcut access consistent. Does it feel painful to not be able to just dive in and just type the text you need? I mean, what you have is awesome for exploration, but what about when you kinda know what you want and you just want to type away at it? Does that feel... laggy (for a lack of a better term) to use the structural shortcuts?

I'd say no at this point But I would also admit that I'm not yet fast enough to notice if it was a small irritation. As I get fast I think the small ergonomic choices might become more important.

“It’s a Unix system… I know this!”

Something from a year or two ago that I built and iterated on since then. Ever wanted to see all your files in 3D to get a mental map? No problem - use CherrierView - a terminal-style, colorized .dae blit of arbitrary directories into space.
